Matsumoto Kiyoshi, the leading health and beauty chains in Japan, was founded in 1932 in the Kogane of Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture as a private run enterprise, named "Matsumoto Yakuho”.

In 1951, after changing its name to Matsumoto Kiyoshi after the founder, Matsumoto Kiyoshi expanded and revolutionized the retail industry in Japan. To date, Matsumoto Kiyoshi has more than 1700 stores across Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan.

In 2020, the first Matsumoto Kiyoshi store in Vietnam was opened on the B2 floor, Vincom Center Dong Khoi – the most busy and popular shopping mall in Ho Chi Minh City. We offer a wide range of health and beauty products including skincare, make-ups, beauty tools, health care product and household goods from genuine trustworthy brands along with our private labels.

Since October 2021, Matsumoto Kiyoshi and Cocokara fine have become MatsukiyoCocokara as a joint organisation, which aims to be the 1st retail chain in Asia. This merger also represents the new vision and mission for Matsukiyo.
